About The Artist
Charlene MacDonald lives in the seaside town of Ayr, Scotland with her partner, Andrew. She loves the outdoors and when she’s not painting she is out hiking and enjoying all that nature has to offer.
Growing up her mum, Karen, always had cats and her grandfather, Hugh, had greyhounds. Charlene understands the joy that pets bring and how much they mean to individuals and families.
Now as a pet owner herself, she understands even more so, the love and companionship of pets.
She decided to paint pets and capture their personalities for owners to enjoy in present times and long after their pets have passed away.
Cherie Blair,
who lives in Sydney, Australia received a painting of her little dog, Bailey, after he passed away.
Cherie’s husband, Mark remarked, ‘ that painting is so good. Charlene has captured Bailey’s ‘what are we doing now ?’ look!
Cherie was blown away by this unique gift from a friend and said,
‘I will treasure this forever, thank you!’
